Mucha Trio is a distinctive ensemble comprising three talented young Czech musicians: Johanna Haniková – piano, Ludmila Pavlova – violin, and Anna Pavlova – clarinet. Since their inception in 2014, they have captivated audiences across Europe with their dynamic performances, gracing renowned venues such as the Bruno Walter Musik Tage, Wolfsburg Prag-live, Prague Clarinet Days, Lípa Musica, Antonín Dvořák Festival etc. Individually, each member boasts a successful solo career, yet it is their synergy as a trio that truly sets them apart. Their repertoire transcends eras, seamlessly navigating from the classics to the avant-garde, with a penchant for premiering works by contemporary composers. The name ‘Mucha Trio’ is in honor of the painter Alfons Mucha and the composer Geraldine Mucha.
